Max Out Your MAXPage
Telephone Interface ModuleBy connecting the Telephone Interface Module directly to your PBX system and using the TAP protocol over RS232 to a MAXPage unit, you effectively expand the number of PBX ports on your MAXPage.
For users of CommtechMessenger, the Fusion Telephone Interface Module also expands the number of ports connected to the already versatile software. The TIM’s possibilities are virtually unlimited.

Voice Over IP to Voice Pagers
For businesses using voice pagers, the TIM can be connected from a PBX system to a Fusion Central Control Module. Then, by using VoIP to the CCM connected to a Fusion INTELPage, messages can be sent to the voice pagers of mobile staff. This setup is ideal for Emergency Services and Homeland Security applications worldwide.

The Telephone Interface Module, otherwise known as TIM, provides voice-prompted wireless messaging from a standard business phone. Whether you run a hotel or a hospital, a casino or a childcare center, the TIM puts the power of wireless messaging in your dialing finger.

Natural Voice Prompts
Connected to any standard telephone extension, the TIM allows staff to call the Fusion Series which then greets the caller with a series of natural voice prompts, inviting the caller to provide the necessary information back to the Central Control Module (CCM) through the telephone keypad.
The CCM then allows the caller to send instant messages directly to mobile phones, pagers, PDAs and email addresses using the keypad on any standard telephone or mobile phone around the world.
