The KIRK Wireless Server 500 is an add-on wireless solution for businesses with a need to supply up to 8 mobile employees with a wireless handset.

KIRK Wireless Server 500The KIRK Wireless Server 500 has an analogue interface to the PBX, can be equipped with up to 6 KIRK Repeaters and handles up to 6 simultaneous conversations.

The role of the KIRK Wireless Server 500 in a wireless solution is dual, as it acts as base station as well as central unit This means that it is part of the infrastructure providing radio coverage as well as acts as the central unit handling the interface to the PBX and the control of the KIRK Repeaters, synchronization for seamless handover, echo cancellation, line delay compensation etc.

The KIRK Wireless Server 500 creates the interface between 8 analogue lines and the digital lines in the solution. The A/B lines are all galvanic isolated from the rest of the solution and from each other.
